Anyone familiar with the 57 back seat emblem insert that's located in the center of the back seat ?  I was kicking around of putting one in my new seat cover when they come in. They come in chrome metal or plastic.

I think all of the Fairlane models had it. None on the customs that I ever have seen, but that does not mean someone could have gotten creative.I have seen hardtop front seats in Customs.

Mac's listed them on a 57 2 dr. or 4 dr. club sedan. What is the club sedan in 57 ?

The club sedan belongs to the Fairlane group. Going down the road , you could easily confuse it with a hardtop,as it has the same trim and body as a hardtop. The difference is it has a post, thus making it a sedan. The post is well hidden as it is covered in brightwork that makes it look like  the window trim on a hardtop. Of the 2 , I prefer having the post car . The windnoise is a lot less in a car with a post, and window rattle is a lot less.

They are potmetal with chrome finish.

Back in the day I drilled a hole in the center and mounted a choke cable back to the latch and removed the outside part of the hardware and smoothed out the trunk lid.
