trunk opening

I have noticed my truck naturally opens about half way.  Should it open straight up? I kinda like the half way look.  And I never use it.  So it's not a big problem anyway.

I tried searching on it.  But nobody ever asked.

Mine's the same way....was gonna look at it to see if there is a stop that can be/could be adjusted. I keep banging my head on the D@#! thing!

exactly! A head banger. I can push mine up with pressure, and looking, there is nothing flexing or twisting. It just naturally stops low.
