Friday night car cruise

 On Friday nights during the summer I go to a local car cruise.  This evening there were 582 cars and there was a line of them still coming in when I was leaving at 6:30.  Mine was the only 57 Ford there.  Look at the weird jeep that is a boat.  He must be trying to outdo the guy that came there last year with a similar rig.

   It is not unusual to get over 700 cars on a Friday night.  The place wasn't full tonight.
   But they don't seem to have any  57 Fords around here.  I remember when they were all over the place.

I would think that a good turnout here would be around 100, and in that bunch I know of one 57 not including mine that shows up, and last I heard he sold it. I haven't shown my car at a local car show yet this year because I've been working a lot, but I think tonight I'll take it to the Saturday night show!

I wish I knew Jay, I'm in Bean town for my Anniversary! On second thought maybe going to a show, rather then dinner out, might not be a good idea!!! Lol!!!

We have a cruise in every Wednesday night put on by Beaches Restaurant its at the Portland International Raceway. They also have 1/8 mile drags going on all night, opening night was June 4th close to 1800 cars. It goes to the end of Sept. averages about 1000 cars every Wednesday. Barbecue ,beer and live music. Raises a lot of money for local charity.

   When are you coming to Boston?
   If you should happen to talk your wife into taking a pleasant drive to sunny Cape Cod,  I am just a short detour off the highway when you drive through Plymouth Mass.
    It would be a good chance to see all my old jalopies.
