Put some new photos of Dad's Fairlane in the Under Construction section of the gallery.  Check them out at http://57fordsforever.com/smf/index.php?action=gallery;cat=5

Members, don't forget that you can add photos to that area any time.  It is pretty easy, if you have trouble, get with me, and I will help you out.

He didn't drive it except around in the yard.  He bought it from member Glen Henderson.  It was complete, had a 292 y block, was green and white with a green and white interior.  He swapped the 292 out for a 4.6 4 cammer and automatic overdrive.  Paint is black urethane with black and maroon interior. The body was a little less than straight, but he has worked it until it is pretty slick.  The last time I saw it before these pics, it was in buff primer.
Jeff, the taillights are Lee custom units, you can still get them for about 50 or 60 a set.  They were big back in the old days, they look awesome with the black paint.  Do a quickie google search, and you can see what they look like better.  They make them for everything.

James, how and what all was used in the 4.6 swap? I keep hearing the shock towers are to close and the 4.6 was to wide
