Big blocks and headers

Would like your comments on how much noise or drone your getting from your big blocks and headers? I have a 3 speed c6 no overdrive and thinking 355 gears for my 460. I afraid it may be too noisey inside the wagon with out overdrive to keep the rpm's down. Any good alternatives that would work for better breathing, SCJ exhaust manifolds maybe? not sure the would bolt up to my 460?

 i'm running a 390 with ceramic coated headers, the ceramic helps reduce noise and heat, but ya still get the rumble from the headers. thats half the fun of hot rodding, if the noise is to loud , do what i do , turn up the tunes, lol

Yea I hear ya, I don't mind a little rumble I just don't like it when you have to raise your voice quite a bit just to talk to your passenger or listen to your tunes!
