license plate light

I am in need of a complete license plate light in good condition with wire still intact. Any one got it ? This is for a 57 Custom 300 , they may all be the same . Just needs to be good driver quality.

If need be, check www.classicautoparts.com page 147 of their "49-72 full size" catalog. Just under 40 bucks...about double what I think I paid for mine 5+ years ago. My old one has got to be around somewhere. I can look when I get back in town next weekend.

Dennis Carpenter has them brand new made in the USA part# B8A-13550-A  $35, better than looking for a used one with a brittle wire and a rusty socket.

When I installed my new one and ran 12 volts to it to check it out, the bulb blew almost right away. When I replaced it, I noticed the bulb that came installed was a 6 volt bulb.
