Anti-squeak seal?

OK, I got lots of boxes of new bits with the Ranchero (most from Macs), one is a bag called an "anti squeak seal" which consists of a rubber seal (L-shape but a about 130 degrees rather than 90 degrees), about 6 feet long and a bag of staples.  As I didn't take the car apart I have no idea where this goes, can anyone advise?  The only places I can see where staples were are the rear apron/valance, just under the bumper and round the inner fenders where they go round the front suspension, but I don't really know.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

That seal goes between the inner fender and fender where the metal meets.

I'd sure like to see a pic or drawing showing how it is installed...I'm assuming it goes along the inner fender where it has a 90* flange that follows the fender shape. I don't know the direction it would face...is the unattached leg facing outwards from the wheel well towards the inside of the outer fender to close gaps?
That mentioned flange, Gary does have staple holes in it...I just looked.
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

Not sure if this will help but I found this in the D. Carpenter catalog. You got the "B", should be enough with 6 ft on each side but looks like you have to cut it in two... I would think the lip goes on the "wet" side.
Good luck.

That's brilliant, thanks for that, its much easier to understand with a picture!
