Where Does This Wire Go!

At the overdrive relay there is a wire in the loom that is white. It is not part of the wires that go to the relay but it is grouped with them. It has a female bullet connector. Connected to that white wire is a black wire about 18 to 20 inches long with a eye connector at the end of the black wire. what does this wire connect to? I have another wire that I do not know where it goes. The wire that goes to the ignition resistor is red. Next to it in the loom is a brown wire about 5 inches long with a eye connector on it. What does that wire connect to?

Ford Blue blood

The white wire is connected to the kick down switch and to a yellow wire with a bullet connector coming off the governor.  That is the only white wire in the diagram.

The solenoid has two wires, one is blue and the second is blue-orange.  Both have bullet connectors, the blue goes to the relay, the blue-orange goes to the kick down switch.

The relay has a red-white wire that goes to the kick down switch.  A blue wire that goes to the bullet connector then to the solenoid.  A black wire that goes through a fuse then to the acc terminal on the ignition switch.

The kick down switch has a white-red wire that goes to a bullet connector that hooks to a black wire that goes to the points side of the ignition coil.  It and the blue-orange wire that goes to a bullet connector to a blue-orange on the solenoid are on the "normally open" part of the switch.  The "normally closed" side of the kick down switch has the red-white wire to the rely and the white wire to a bullet connector to a yellow wire to the governor.

A lot of info, hope it helps.
