57 armrests (front door Ranchero)

Just got my Ranchero from ulph. shop. It's been apart for years. He put the armrests
on with the narrow part to the front. It looks backwards to me. I can't find
any pictures. Somebody tell me I'm right or wrong.

Your arm rest is on backwards. Here is a picture of my door, also the 57 Ford Shop Manual pg 11-2 shows the arm rest in same direction as on my door.
