I was heading east down the highway today and spotted a 57 on a trailer in the westbound lane. As I saw it going by I noticed it was two front ends grafted together.
It was gone before I ever would've had a chance to snap a pic, but I did a little interwebs search and found the same car had just sold on ebay.
Only thing I could think was "why?".

Seen a few like that sitting high on a post basicly a billboard for some company. Often a restaurant.

From what I can find on the car, I think it might've been set up at one time to drive in either direction, but has since been changed to only being driveable from one side. Somebody somewhere decided to part with $29,500 to own it.

What rich stated X 2.  I've seen plenty of those jobs done in the old days.
They were plentiful at one time and some qualified old body guys had nothing better to do.
