A few months back I converted my steering over to power using the Borgeson box and pump. I never did get the braking power and function I wanted out of the vacuum booster system I converted to a couple years ago, so I purchased the Hydroboost unit that operates with the power steering pump. What a difference. I now have the stopping power of our modern cars of today. I would recommend anyone who has a power steering pump to convert over.

Seems to be the concensous of everyone who's done it. I can't compare anything on my '57 to the hydroboost setup I installed, but I have zero issues with it, and sure like the way the car stops. Thanks for the input, Cluster.
Which hydoboost system did you use?....aftermarket or donor car?
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

I used a new unit Rich, however it took 3 weeks to get it from an outfit out in California. They sold reconditioned ones as well, but I thought I better go with new. I am just thrilled with it to say the least.

Took a picture of the unit installed on the 57.
