converting car radio to FM

I sent the radio from my 60 F100 to Joe's Classic Car Radio in SC. He will rebuild it as stock, upgrade to FM, or add a bluetooth input if you want. I kept mine AM but added bluetooth. Turnaround was about 6 weeks if I remember correctly, price was reasonable, and the radio worked great.

I bought a RediRad, connects the radio to an iPhone or an iPod through the antenna connection. I can listen to FM through the iHeart radio app on my phone or use the iPod. Sounds old which makes it cool to me.

I used Joes as well and am very happy with his work.  It was in my Edsel.  The radio is completely stock looking.  Has 40 watt 4 channel outputs, AM, FM, and MP3 inputs.  Works well, sounds great.  He can keep the wonder bar function if so equipped.  Recommend him.

Go to Walmart or Amazon and get your self a self powered stereo blue tooth speaker then access Pandora through your smart phone.
At $50.00 or less for the speaker it is a much cheaper option then a $400.00 radio conversion . It sounds better and you can listen to what you want.
I find fm radio to be more frustrating than relaxing.
The speaker that I use is a SHARKK Boombox 10w bluetooth speaker.
I put the speaker on the seat next to me and head on down the road. Just an option I thought I would share.....

after reading everyones opinion,  looking thru lots of diff info,  hemmings etc,  kinda going to go with Joes,  i'll give them a call an c what they have to offer,  would like to have a CD set up with it,  thanks guys.     jerry

have to add,   joes conversion costs $425,   and now i get one from a Jims service for $385,  and then anothetr from Taymon electrical for $400,   has anyone heard of these guys?,  and what do u think,  open for opinions and or maybe done business with any of them,    i need help deciding.  thanks    jerry
