I might switch to an automatic so wife and mother can drive it .
Would the C4 bolt up to the 6cyl block? Don't need OD with the 6cyl.

If it has a factory 223, I think the bellhousing is different than any C4 application. Are you sure that the wife & mother really WANT to drive a 60 year old car with manual steering & brakes? :002:
1959 Meteor 2 door sedan , 428 Cobra Jet 4 speed. Been drag racing Fords (mostly FEs) 47 years and counting.
Previous 50s Fords include 57 Custom 4 door, 2 57 Ford Sedan Deliveries, 59  Country Sedan, and as a 9 year old, fell in love with the family 58 2 door Ranch Wagon.

I don't know about whether or not a C4 will bolt up to the 6, and I don't know why the picture does that.... but I love that car! That is really cool!  :burnout:

Bill, thanks . Do you like it with out or with the lettering. I have started to take it off.
I kinda like it without. I'm gonna keep it a six cyl . And not cherry the body out. I have a couple of other off topic cars for that . One of them runs 10.80s so far in the 1/4

I love the old school lettering, but that car will look cool either way.  And it is always good to have another go-fast around.  :burnout:
