1957 Fairlane Parking Lights

Question I have a 57 Fairlane all works good I just notice my parking lights turn off when my low/high beam lights turn on. I'm running everything stock on it. Is this normal? If it is I will re-wire system to have all lights on.

Normal.  Just move the parking light wires to the taillight post on the headlight switch.
