WOW, I just ordered a radiator from Griffin for my wagon and the 460 conversion, $630. bucks. Doesn't that seem a little high to you guy's?

Wait till you see it. You will want to hug it. Quality, quality, quality. You get what you pay for, plus peace of mind that it will perform.

john, i paid $450.00 for mine 3 years ago and they WORK. QUALITY IS GREAT and like banger said , piece of mind, have had NO trouble with mine and keeps the ole 390 cool.

For that kinda money, is it aluminum or brass?

I had a 223 6cyl stick & when I changed over to my 302 auto 10yrs ago I had my rad rebuilt to a 4 core & it has worked great ever since :icon_bigsmurf: :unitedstates:

well aint nuttin wrong with recoring an old radiator if it's rebuildable, but if your like me , and didn't have one worth rebuilding and would have to drive 100 miles to atlanta and run around looking for one in a wrecking yard , then might as well put the money else where and make it look  good.  aluminum disapates heat better then brass , are welded verus soldiered . but what ever works works. just my 2 cents.
