Upper A Frame Interchange Question

Are both '58 and '59 Upper A frames interchangeable with '57's? I'm aware of the difference between the '57's and '58's, but don't know if the '59's are the same as '58's, and thus interchangeable as well.
I've made the switch to the '58 version; a friend of mine is wanting to do the same and we wondered if he can use '59's as well as '58's.
Second question........beside '58 Fords what other Ford Corporation models used this same A Frame. I think Edsel is the same, but looking for confirmation. Same question for '59's assuming they are the same as '58's
Thanks
John

Visually, other than 57 s use rubber bushings, and 58&9 used the threaded nut bushings for the inner control arms, the arms look the same to me. I assume you intend to retain the 58-9 style upper shafts and bushings, right? I don`t think that I would want to try pressing in 57 style bushings in a 58-9 upper A arm, since the bushing nuts have threads that cut into the stamping.

Yes, I made the switch because I liked the threaded nut style shafts. Just wasn't sure that '59's were the same as '58's. I assumed they were, but wanted confirmation. Thanks for your reply.
Now, I also assume that the '58 and '59 Upper A Frames on Fords, Edsels and Mercurys are all the same. Can anyone confirm that?
My friend and I will go "shopping" in a yard near by that has four or five 59's Fords so we can get him a pair for his Ranch Wagon.
Thanks again.

John, the small series 58 Edsel (Ranger & Pacer) are the same as Fords, the large series 58 Edsel (Corsair & Citation)  are Mercury based.  59 and 60 are all Ford based.

The 59 Ford stampings are different than the 57s (and 58s?). They are missing the lip on the engine side. I thought 58s used the same bushings as the 57s?
