57 Brake shoe thickness

Doing my brakes on my 57 Skyliner. I have parts illustration and tech manual. I have new drums to go on and I am trying to find out if anyone knows the thickness of the original brake shoes. Books do not mention anything except for width and length. Any one go any ideas? or an original nos one for a measurement?

I don't know what different it makes. If you get new shoes that are the right diameter & width & you're good to go.
