1957 ford steering upgade

I have a nice 58 steering box complete with auto column with wheel and pitman arm box is excellent shape looking to get $250

Will this work on a 57 Fairlane 500?

Yes with the 58 pitman arm, but the well documented horn issue will be there.

The horn is not a big issue as long as. U have a complete steering column and wheel u can use the 57 steering wheel by modifying drilling the area where your horn contact goes thrust or paint the wheel that it has with it the horn rings are the same

Also to add the wiring for the turnsignal is plug and play with the horn u hook the original wire at thesteering box and run up to the horn wire coming out of steering column easy but u need the complete 58 column to do its a bolt in .
