Saw that Dennis Carpenter had passed Saturday; He did a lot for our hobby and will surely be missed by us Ford guys.
Rest in peace....

When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

That obit is for a different DC, apparently a cop in calif.

Our DC was a NC good ole boy.

Many years ago I gave him some NOS body mounts for 57 and when they started reproing them he gave me a complete
set 15 years later!

Corrected, sorry, my bad; one page linked to the next even though it was incorrect.

Nice story on the mounts and that he remembered you for it.  :occasion14:

Great memories getting a tour of his facility.  Lots of southern hospitality.  He showed us the buildings full of great stuff and then took us out to the bone yard out back.
He had just got some weather-stripping molds that FORD was done with and gave to him, this was about 20 years ago and he was telling us how first generation Bronco's were going to be very popular.
I will see if I can dig up some pictures to share.
