Windshield Vent

Good day folks. Was curious as to how common windshield vents are. Per the attached pictures, my car has this vent setup at the bottom of the windshield. I have yet to see another one. Are these common place?

That is the factory air system.  Only cars with Select Air had those trim pieces.  Should be a little "Select Air" oval shaped badge on the passenger door just below the vent window.  Your dash eater control will also have the Select Air on it.
