Bear Records have been Germanys ( and maybe even Europes) largest record shop specializing in American roots music. back in the 1980s they were the one to dig for old 'lost' Blues and Rockabilly recordings with Sun studios and many, many other 'underground' record labels of the 1950s. They were/are especially looking for and publishing good quality original tapes (unissued back in the day) and enhancing the audio for cd quality listening.
Well, their latest catalog has 2x 57 Fords on the cover ! I like how they chose this over the 'other' infamous 57 brand.... Usually I also get the catalog in a little pages print version, so I'm very much looking forward to that !  :001:

Hi Guenter,

Just curious as to why if it is a German company the cover page is in English?

Mike, even though Germany seems to be a huge market, they are an international vendor, and obviously there are dozens of languages in Europe. They also have French and German online versions. I just picked the English version for you guys. G.

FWIW  The nice thing is that a lot of countries start learning English at a young age. That helps us a lot when we try to communicate with them.
