Around here there is two episodes of leave it to beaver on every morning, lately there all made in 57-58 so there's a lot of 57 fords. This morning was the episode where beaver hit the baseball into the garage and broke the door glass on Wards 57 custom 300 4dr, it ended up costing $16 to have it replaced.

Is that the late Eddy Haskell checking out the glass there?

You guys are sick.  :003:

I caught a soft top on -I forgot- driver stole the girl away when lemon used car '48 Ford's top was stuck down in the rain.

I caught another one on Twilight Zone  in the phoniest town square ever, but I didn't shoot fast enough. lol

A double episode of 'Leave it to Beaver' and 'Perry Mason' made my daily 'programs' list.  Not only was $16 cheap by todays standards but Ward ran down that morning and got it done!!!  Safelite is at least a week out!!

Was it apparent if they actually broke the glass or used a stand-in actor?

Film used to be a bit more thrifty. lol

I heard somewhere that Eddie grew up and became a Highway Patrol officer.

He became an LAPD cop...served 18 years and retired in '88. Died last year. (Not from COVID)

    Thank you for that info.
Do you remember how sweet he talked to Mrs.C. ?

mustang6984

I do...syrupy..(is that a word?) like he was pouring his words out of a Aunt Jemima bottle! And she seemed to like it. Ward however...always had that skeptical look about him! LOL!!!  :003:

That's correct.  When he spoke like that, Ward would always have that look.  Then Eddy would go upstairs and talk to Beaver like a big
troublemaker.  It was an instant change in personality.
