Yep, 300 series is taller. That's it. My 57 convertible has a Custom cowl, spot welds drilled out and a convertible windshield top frame and vertical sides welded in its place. Even installed a used windshield with gasket before pulling it again welding it back together completely, just to make darn sure it was gonna fit normal with the Custom lower windshield gasket retaining lip.
