1957 Glass Kit Suggestions

I am at the point in my '57 Ranchero project where I need to start thinking about glass.  I need all the glass pieces for the car.
Has anybody had any recent experiences with glass suppliers?
I did a search on the vendor/supplier forum and found one reference, but it was from 2012.

most of us get the glass from www.autocityclassic.com. They're on our supplier list. They do (did?) deliver to big swap meets around the country with advance notice. If you attend any of those, it can save big bucks on shipping.

Thanks for the info.  In my research it appears that some of the other suppliers get their glass from Auto City Classic as well.

Except for the windshield most glass shops can cut the flat glass if you have the old stuff for a pattern.

Most glass shops cannot do the tempering, not sure if they can get/use laminated. When I had my glass cut for the fixed rear windows, the Amarillo glass shop I used had to send it to Oklahoma for tempering. At that, yes, the glass was tempered, but he told me it would not be to mil specs.I would strongly recommend not using plain plate glass except maybe the wing windows.

What about the sheet laminated glass?  I believe that's what was in the windows from the factory.

I don?t know if they deal with all of the glass, but Bob?s Auto Glass in Oregon.  The website is http://www.bobsclassicautoglass.com/. I just bought a new windshield from them.  Service was great, and they crated the windshield so well it made it to Hawaii with no issues.

That's what you'd get from the suppliers. My local glass company didn't have it available.

There are several glass shops in Hemmings services offered section every month.
