on facebook yesterday I saw a 429 ? with a clear plastic valve cover,  and was wondering if by chance they make one for a 312,  any one know?,   thanks     jerry

I've never seen one, but I would think a local 3D printing shop may be able to scan a valve cover and print out a clear plastic one.

Jay Brown makes them for FE's maybe he can point you in the right direction to make some.

I read a thread recently somewhere .....probably on the Hamb, about these........major leakage problems.

for the ones you have seen, you should ask how long have they been run constantly?
I would think over time most any plastic or resin that sees heat and oil cycles with brittle and yellow, then fail.

3D printing some would be pricey, its not just scanning and printing, you would need something with all thickness and gussets. also clear  would need to be finished to actual look nice.

If you just want to see your  rockers run live, just pull the valve covers and run it without covers for a short time. then replace and call it a day. you can adjust valves like this while running.
its not a hit and miss old timey engine.
