    Are those running lights on the outside of the front fenders and rear quarters? Overall the car looks half decent and for sure needs a restoration.

Kind of looks like that doesn't it? No idea why they were put in...guess the dad thought he was going to be driving it a lot and wanted to make it "modern" in that aspect.
