1957 Ford Gauge Needle Color

I'm at the point with my Ranchero project where I will be reinstalling the instrument cluster.
The needles are really faded so I was going to touch them up.
What is the consensus as to the correct color  orange vs. red?

I think they should be red, they only look orange after years of fading.
