I am in need of a passenger side tailgate latch, that works....

I have this 57 Ranchero that has been a "restomod" project for over ten years plus...
I need a passenger side tailgate latch with a good latch spring, the one I have has a rusted away, broken latch spring and it will NOT keep the tailgate closed....
Does anyone know anyone that has an extra or knows where I might find a good one

Would the latch mechanism be the same as that on a station wagon? Not that I have one, but just thinking here....

Yes, they are the same, as far as I know.
dmberger ...... contacted me yesterday regarding this part he needs.

Yes they are the same....after you take off the upper gate latch.  I have two wagon latches on my Ranchero.
