I once had visions of putting a supercharged Y-Block in a '57 corvette with "fuel injection" emblems on the fenders.  I had enough stuff to build the Y-Block, but not enough funds to obtain the corvette.  Would have caused some irate comments  from the scrub crowd!    John

That would have been hilarious! Never too late... :006:  :003:

John I would've bought tickets to see their reactions!

I put a 351W in a friend's little Chev LUV truck decades ago. :001:
Years later & apparently after it had changed hands a few times I ran across it & the kid that owned it. Looked like nobody had changed a thing. Funny part was that the 6" square & 1/2" thick steel plate that was laying around here that we used at the last minute to temporarily cover the hole where the stock floor shift had been was still laying there loose on the trans hump. One would think that over the years someone had gotten around to making a decent cover for that hole.

Hmmm, the title would indicate that someone thinks Chevy motors were worth putting in something. 😉
We put a 390 in a friends 56 Chevy around 1966-67  Back then guys just did what they could to get more power with what was available.
