I can't find tube grills any where

mustang6984

Maybe this place...they make them I guess...
https://www.customcargrills.com
I saw an old discussion on the HAMB between some guys about them, and one said making them was kind of easy The discussion was from 2006...

they make new ones but not as good as old ones old ones are stainless 1/2 tubes new are bar stock chrome plated this is one style of new one

mustang6984

Yea...not really a "tube" is it?
There was a piece in that HAMB article I gave you the link to...where one of the guys said that making your own wasn't too difficult. Problem is, he didn't say HOW to go about it.
Given that the thread was from 20 years ago, not sure if asking would do any good...might not get a response.
Rich and Cobra Joe spend time on the HAMB, as does Guenther...one of them might know the guy who made the comment and have some insight on how to reach out.
Other than that...I guess the only options would be to hope one comes up somewhere, or try making one via the hit and miss method.
Good luck!

Hmmmm, make one.   Better have a sliding t-bevel to get the angle right on.    Will need a good helper.  Someone better be a great welder for stainless.
