Floor mats for 1957 Fords

What kind of floor mats were available from factory/dearlerships for 1957 Fords:  rubber, carpet, vinyl?

I don't thin that floor mats were even an option from the factory or the dealer(unless aftermarket). That said floor mats back then would have been rubber and typically over the hump one piece style. A BIG IIRC!

My wagon had black rubber mats front and back. They of course turned to dust when I got it.

black rubber.  Carped mats showed up in the Late 60's -70's

If you want to protect your new carpet.  Order the matching mats at the same time.

THANKS for the response; I have 1957 country squire and wanted to use some floor mats that would be "correct" for that year(a wish).

I am only aware of the fronts being reproduced-not the rears.
