Mirrors and seat belts

I need to install mirrors and seatbelts.  I have searched and found a lot of information on both but still have questions.

   1.  Mirrors:  I don't want to make holes in either the door or fender so that eliminates  most mirrors.  What clamp on mirrors are members using and how satisfied are you with them?  I can only clamp to the top of the door as clearance at the "A" pillar is limited. Does anyone have suggestions for mirrors?

   2.  Seat belts:  I failed to provide for 3 point belts on the "B" pillar.  I am therefore looking for lap belts.  Does anyone have a suggestion for suppliers?  How have others routed them, between the back and bottom or around the outside of the seat?

Thanks to everyone for comments and suggestions.

I only have the two front belts, I think I got them from Concours Auto Parts. The middle belts are in between the seat backs and the bottom. The outside ones go around the seat hinge.

My mirror was screwed on to the door when I bought the car. At some point I think the car had fender mirrors.

Peep mirror:  slight movement of the head gives full view.

Are you just using a driver's side mirror? Do you remember which mirror that is and where I can find one?

Peep mirrors only give you a peep of vision. Or  Maybe get a camera that offers side views like modern EV

Why no holes?

Seatbelt planet or seat belts plus get the basic 60" and use Juliano anchor plates on the bottom side.

Juliano has everything you need for the belts.  Most aftermarket hot rod vendors have the "peep" mirrors.  Have them on the 36, work OK, look correct over having bigger oversized and give the "look" you need.  I have found that when driving the old cars I am much less aggressive, the need for good side and rear vision is less critical.  After riding a motorcycle for years the defensive driving skills needed to survive transfer to old cars very well....late model as well.

Terry;  Why not install the correct hooded factory fender mounted mirrors while your at it.  Expensive, available, I got mine from Mac's.

Ditto what Abe said about using "anchor plates" on the bottom side. You do not want reinforcement plates with sharp edges that can tear thru sheetmetal on severe impact.
I'm also with Abe on questioning the no holes. I'd be more concerned about seeing/vision around the car to avoid substantially more damage than small holes from an accident. My dual mirrors are on the doors just behind the vent window.
Btw, I used Julian's for my (bucket) seat belts
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

My car didn't have mirrors that required holes in either doors or fenders, only a peep mirror on drivers side.  The mirror was gone when I got the car.  All that was left of the mirror was a couple of very small depressions where it had been.

I do have an og hooded mirror, sans glass, but still can't bring myself to drill the holes to mount it.  I may change mind and get out the drill.

I've requested seat belt color samples from a couple venders but have not received them.  I'll check out Seatbelt Planet.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.  I'm still trying to decide on the mirrors.

My car does not have the fender mirrors.  It has the mirrors mounted adjacent to the vent-a-payne glass(es).   I am glad, because I do not care for the fender mirrors.

My car has 1 seat belt.  It was installed by me, when my son was young, so he could ride with me.   His booster seat, and later simply him.  Pesky wife.    :)

Well now you can really strong magnets and epoxy them to the bottom of a mirror. Then use some felt or something as a paint protector.  Just magnet the mirror on and try it. Just a thought

Does your state vehicle code call for a LH outside mirror or is the car exempt?

The state requires an outside mirror.   There's not an exemption for our old cars.

Clamp-on peeps require no holes.  Try it and if you don't like it, move on to plan B with no holes to fill.
