I remmeber buying a set of Thrush back in High School for $20. I put them on a '70 Mach1 and they drugg on the speed bumps. LOL

Bought my first ones in 1969 for $6.99 at G.I.Joes in North Portland. Seems cheap but I was working as a busboy making minimum wage $1.25 hour.

Ford Blue blood

Back in the day Corvair Turbos were the hot thing.  Hot Rod/Car Craft/Popular Hot Rodding (one of those car mags) did a test of which mufflers gave the most HP on a given setup and still kept the law off your back.  The Corvair Turbo won hands down!  Thursh soon had a replacement for it at much less, can't even begin to remember the cost, but they are still around today.
