wheel offset

Hey Guys,
   I wanted to get some  10" AWC smoothies for the rear of Dads car, what offset should I look for to clear the fender/ wheel well.

   I'm afraid your eyes are bigger than your stomach. I'm sending you pictures on my 57 Fairlane with a U.S. Wheels 8" X 15" wheel with 4 3/4" backspacing. I had to go with U.S. Wheels 462 series because they were the only one's that had a Cragar looking wheel with as close to the backspace that I needed. Good luck. Jim
I also included a picture of how I had to trim the fender to get those wheels to fit.

10" will require a real commitment!
10" wheels with NASCAR Goodyears on them requires frame modifications, tubbing and narrowing of the 9.

Ya, my eye's are bigger than my stomach! just like Jim said. Thanks for the info though Gasman. Tom would be proud to know how his friends here are looking out for me!
