Mine looks like an aluminum copy of my original 272 V8 radiator...I'll get them both out in a little while and click some pics..

Hi Skool Hairy

Just returned from the antique drags near Bakersfield, met the "Radiator Lady" her shop is in Lake Elsinore, Ca. she actually makes aluminum radiators for 1957 Fords, said the price would be around $300. Her contact # is 951-219-4707

Rich:

I'm pretty sure the outlet was on the bottom right.  I sold the rebuilt radiator that came with the car a number of years ago and can't remember.  You know the old STML (short term memory loss) problem.  lol

Thanks Bob. I was hoping to get LOTS of response on this so I could have some significant feedback to pass on to Auto City Classic....Gary, James, Rick, Bill, Lou, John, Pat, Jim, etc., etc. Maybe a poll would have been better, but I couldn't figure out how to input the reasons why a radiator other than top right/ bottom left for most 8's, and top left/bottom right for the sixes would be needed.
Thanks Rich

Got the correct radiator in today. It looks like the one I posted pics of except the top inlet is on the right (and bottom on the left). It looks as good as the first one, so I won't post any pics.
The number on the box is 5759B, not A !

Just to add another chapter in the wrong radiator saga.  Just got my radiator yesterday and got the wrong radiator.  Ordered one for a V8, specifically said I wanted the radiator connections top right, bottom left.  The guy I ordered from said you want a 5759A with the connections top right, bottom left.  The radiator I got had both connections on the left.
When I called to report the wrong radiator, they said I should have gotten a 5759B and would send a replacement.  Also said they would investigate why someone would say I needed the wrong radiator.  He said the 5759A has both connections on the left.

Their web site still shows the 5759A with both connections on the left & calls it the V8 radiator & the 5759B the "V-8 w/6 CYL mount".  V-8 w/6 CYL mount? What's that?  The A should just be called the 6 CYL & the B the V8.
You would think that they would have corrected that by now.

I think they are where they are on the problem because some "enlightened" source gave them some wrong info to begin with, and they are not going to immediately change their original designs until they get enough confirmation...which is why I was hoping to get a large number of guys to respond to my earlier post..which didn't happen.  I still think the 5759B is correct for the v-8 and the one with two on the left is neither the 6 or the 8 in original configurations, but I'm only one guy. That said, I am totally surprised it happened again..sending out the wrong radiator. At least we got someone making what appears to be a real descent part for the right money. Have a little patience and they'll sort it out.

P.S. spent and hour or so with a hand drill and buffing wheel on the tank top...looks awesome...And picked up a billet 7# radiator cap for it.

When I called they informed me not to go by the website. You had to call and tell them where the hose connections are.
