Just stopped at my local shop. will be in by the weekend!!!! I know what Im doing saturday! Now only if they would build a 4 door version....

it shouldnt be hard to covert this kit to a 4 door just move the B pillar and carve a few new door lines

WOO! HOO! Have you guys seen the "Fireball" Roberts 57 Ford Model, New version of last years 57 only NASCAR styled. Its a must have guys.

A friend of mine here in Ontario sells models, diecast and hotwheels, sold me a kit a few months ago still sitting on the shelf, maybe I'll take it to my body guy see what he'll charge me to paint her up!

hotroddonnie...Are you going to put a straight front axle in it?

Well I think it would be cool to have a model built to match. Probably be more work then building the real thing, and my body guy would need 3 years to paint it! Sorry Barry.

Guys:

A couple of years ago at the Knott's show we had a tribute car {Fireball Roberts F-code NASCAR 57 Custom} built by or for his daughter. The car was amazing. I sure wish I knew who owns it now as it really looked like a piece of history.

I guess there has been more then a few replicas built over the years. I remember seeing one at California Raceway a few years ago

These are the 3 kits I have built so far. The tan one is built just like mine (other than being a 2 door). The Blue/turquoise is a prostreet version with a sohc 427, tubbed, fat tires and wheelie bars, and the orange is for Donnie, Straight axle front, hilborn fuel injected y block and blue tinted glass.

There's no doubt in my mind that it could take that long to do the model.
I'm willing to bet that Jeff can get that painted in less than 3 years though. Don't forget , he did offer you an airbrush.
