I vote for Red n white..... but I would use Wimbleton white... it has a cream warm feel.... Colonial White is to stark for me.....like a fridge white. But this is just my opinion.
Bama.... what is your tire choice..... blackwalls or WWs?

This as well will affect the colour.
At anyrate,.... your 57 will be a winner!

Red & White is what I had told the body & paint guy but I do love that blue. I'm not trying to please anyone, just want it to POP.

The tires will be white lettered with some type of old school wheels for most uses. I do have the original wheel covers and some white wall tires if I wanted to show it that way. The car will be a driver not really a show car so mainly I will run the Mag type wheels & white lettered tires.  :burnout:

Well,.. if you like the Dresden Blue....  use the colonial white.... because it is a cool white.... not warm.
If you have a good relationship with you paint shop.... ask for some spray outs samples of the Dresden that has few different blue values.
But definitely use a cool white.

sounds like a winner!

I've always thought the '57 Fords had the best looking cowl vent, whith it's horizontal lines. But after striping the paint off mine and having to get in between all those corners I'm not so sure. lol

Perfect part for a sandblaster! you got them looking good....did you do the primer for your painter?
Not that I'm bitching by anymeans about anyone posting pictures, but it sure is a lot easier and faster to open jpg images. Thanks for posting. Keep up updated. Are you having your painter single stage or basecoat/clearcoat?
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

Yes, my EL-Cheap-O blaster was not co-operating so I used a drill motor with a stripper wheel. I sprayed it with epoxy primer for them to prep for paint.

I agree with the JPEGs but was limited by my software. Try this one.
