Found a local fella who did some media blasting for me and primed as well. My dash and the garnish mouldings. As I stated, small progress, but for me it's a start.
My other project is still ongoing,so this is gonna take longer.God Bless Texas Iron!

Looks great Jeff. So many things you could take and get done, but like you say a little at a time, hood hinges, bumper brackets, front seat brackets, the list goes on, but wouldn't it be nice to have all that stuff blasted and sitting in primer, ready for paint.

Between engines, 57 ford and 57 parts, hotrod  and hotrod parts, parts for hotrods being built, and parts for future hotrods not including the hotrod that's not home yet, room is getting slim....but wait, there is one more spot for more hotrods, but I'm not sure she's gonna give up her spot!

If you're feeling left out I've got plenty of rusted 57 panels I can ship over!

Those parts came out nice.   I love the '32 Model Truck workbench.  Seems like we used a '57 retract as a workbench for many years.

In all seriousness, I hope that you took pictures of everything before taking your custom apart, and I also hope that you have some sort of a system for storing all of the clips, screws and parts.  Try to designate  one location where you will keep everything.

Since your shop seems filled already, depending on your town laws maybe you could buy a van or car to store all of the 57 parts in and lock it up when not in use.  Do you have some place where you can hide a truck box like the ones that I use?

These are just a few suggestions because you can spend a lot of time looking for stuff when It's time to reassemble everything..  Jay

For years I used big plastic trash cans for outside storage of things waiting to be worked on. Kept them dry from the weather and helped reduced the clutter inside.
I can do this, I can do this, I, well, maybe

Rich
That will work also especially if it keeps the items nice and dry.  Just have to be sure that someone does not do you a favor some day and take the trash out for you.
