I wish I had known what that hole was for and that a plug was available. My old 57 had OD but I never paid attention exactly were the cable went through. It wouldn't be under the gas peddle, should be well to the right of it where the linkage pivots.

Rich, your instructions for making one was a little more involved than I wanted to get. :)
