I've entered my 57 in an indoor car show, no big deal just wondering how that went for you. did you win anything? The good and bad. HRD

I saw that last week James. I've decided to push it in just to be safe, my car has never been test driven yet and I would hate for anything to go wrong. HRD

I imagine before long, because of that wreck, that all indoor shows will not let folks drive their car inside.  Just a matter of time before something like that happened, or worse, someone run over and killed, instead of just hurt.

Entered my car in an indoor show in Kingsport, Tenn. Large room in hotel complex, about 100 cars in one big room. Carpet covered with plastic sheets. Had to be real careful when driving in not to scoot plastic. No incidents and really comfortable with A/C in Aug. Hotel room upstairs, didn't even have to unhook trailer from truck. Oh, and I won a door prize, a Bowtie fender cover.

That's what I was thinking.

@Jerrys Kars, Thanks for the template and instructions for the v bar and the hockey sticks. Came in the mail today. Indoor shows are the ones I like . the temperature gets too hot for an old man like me , down here in Texas.

I was there when that happened.. pretty darn sad. but it could have been much worse.
At least the judge that was hit and run over was not killed. The driver was hurt too.The car was a write off.
Donnie, Move in day at the centre is good,Just ease off the fireburnouts for a grand entrance.
Your car is deadly and deserves to be seen for the first time in a venue such as this.

Just make sure your throttle linkage is working well and is not sticky.

I'm sure the accident has been looked at by all parties, but if you look at the floor mats under the car their still nice and flat...if the brakes were on it would be in a ball in front of the tires. I've just hijacked my own thread!!!

HRD  Years ago I chased the ISCA show car circuit with a 56 T -Bird. The few things they were very concerned with was fire safety, Battery had to be disconected, and some shows fuel tank had to be drained and engine run untill it was out of fuel. Other shows gas cap had to be duck taped shut or have locking gas cap. This is up to the city Fire Marshal.

That's a pain in the ssa wildhog. They haven't asked us to do any of that, but I'm sure that day will come. I have a quick disconnect on my battery which is a great idea for all the right reasons. HRD

I did it several times.  I reflect back, it was more trouble than it was worth.

Only good happens to the show promoter.  You're their servant until you leave.
