Jay,
   We just got a couple of inches, just enough to make the roads ice! It is amazing what a guy can remember and what he cant! Just don't tell my wife that I remembered your air cleaner, I'd be in deep sh#!

   I won't tell her about our poor memory.
   I have the same problem plus one more.  She says that I don't hear when she talks to me about things to do.  Is that what they call selective memory and hearing?   
    We only got a dusting yesterday and it was gone by 1:00 PM.

Nice feedback on my questions. Thanks for the information. To make sure I have it right, maybe bead blast the intake with some soft material to make it look new and paint the air cleaner argent and call it good?

    Now you have it right.   Assuming that the carburetors are in  good condition, I'm  sure that everything will go smoothly.
     One more question, did that unit come off of a Thunderbird or a full size car?
      Seems like someone stated that the Thunderbird carbs. on the left.
