Order your parts early and often!!!

I'm so accustom to ordering parts and having them in a couple of days.  Maybe I've just be unlucky but the last couple of special, reproduction parts I've tried to order have been back ordered.  I typically don't like stocking parts on my shelves but with limited production parts...word to the wise, if you are going to need it, order it now even if you're not ready to install.

Solid advise. I waited too long to order a body mount kit for my ranchero and now they aren't available

Gary you are so correct!  Case in point for me, 34 Plymouth coupe, needed interior garnish moldings.  Found a set in Hemmings, called , too much (I thought).  Four years later after calls to every 30s vintage add in Hemmings with no luck another set pops up.  Same vendor, different set, $100 more then the first set....told him pach them up, check is on the way!
