My oldest son is going into the NAVY.

He graduates next week.  I will be going up to see his PIR (Pass In Review) next Friday.  He apparently is doing well, got a five minute merit phone call the other night, letting me know he had passed swim test, final PFA, final inspection, gas chamber, and was getting ready for battle stations..  It should all be over with this weekend, then they will be able to compete in the Captain's Cup for fun, and hopefully do well in it, so they can carry that flag at their PIR also.  I miss my boy, but he is becoming a man through all of this.  I am so proud of him, words cannot express.
