Rear quarter trim holes on a 500 hardtop

Has any of you that have a Fairlane 500 noticed the rear quarter trim holes are mismatched from side to side? The right side trim piece just before the door has the last hole about 6" from the door but the left side same hole is 2 and1/2 to 3" from the door. I  am installing the last of the trim and just noticed. I think it is a factory error but just curious if others are the same

I'll have to check mine. The trim is off but the car is in another location. I'll let you know.
