Cool video, but the tailgate on that Sedan Delivery has a different tailgate assist/holding mechanism than both of my Canadian built Sedan Deliveries. I have seen a 58 SD that had that type of setup, but mine had a track and roller setup on the passenger side , the roller wheel would drop down into a dip in the track, which would hold the tailgate in the fully opened position.

Thanks.  Some very interesting stuff, especially considering it was done nearly 20 years ago.  Makes me wonder where's the second tape?

I picked up on the statement 'parts are getting hard to find' and 'few surviving models' and that was 20 years ago!  In the southwest to boot.
