There is a specified parts list for the 57 Police Cars. Has the "E" and "F" Code Part numbers as well as the alternator part number and more!

My 57 with factory A/C has the thicker radiator, 5 blade fan, different waterpump pulley and group 27 battery
with the wider battery box.

That's Killer Jim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a friend in the 70's who was travelling thru Alabama and got stopped in a small town as they were passing thru going home North.....

Trooper "Where you boys from?"
Friend " We are coming back from Florida ,going home to Canada...."
Trooper "Canada?"
Friend "Yes Sir."
Trooper "How long y'all planning to stay in our fine town.?"
Friend " We thought we would hang out for a few days, see what goes on and leave on Saturday sometime."
Trooper "Make it Friday."

Ha ha ha......
So Jim.... when i see that trooper Picture...I think of that story.

That's too funny Jeff  :003: I'm pretty sure that in the 70's if your were a hippie, black or a foreigner they wanted you out of town ASAP  :burnout:

Revel has models also.

Its '58. I had a 4 door back in the day. I have an original '57 Police Vehicle brochure if anyone is interested in a color photo copy. As I recall they show a side trim for the Custom 300 that I don't think was ever produced.

Jeff:

In 2007 I was able to ask Steve Pierce our local 57 parts supplier to loan us one of his 57 Movie Police Cars.  It wasn't original, as it had a FE 352 for power and the automatic trans was on its last legs (bolts).  I took it to both the Seal Beach Show and to the Knott's show.  It drew a lot of attention and the two shows were a lot of fun.  The car is back up in Twentynine Palms, CA.  I also believe he has a former Air Force Military Police car and I think it was an original. these first attachments are from the Seal Beach Show.  We staged a shot of Rick's 57 Custom 300 being "pulled over" by the movie car.
