One more. Tight quarters for the driver.

When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

The Mustang was Fords flagship car by 65 so they couldn't have made very many 65 T-bolts.

Just some facts on the Tasca cars, back in post 1103the 62 is being driven by John Healey at Conn. Dragway it belong to a good friend of his. In post 1203 that 62 Fairlane was the brainchild of Andy Hotten from Dearborn Steel tubing,it became known as Challenger I and II . the name came from the 221 and 260 engines. Post 1203 was at Conn. also, in post  1208 it was at Charlestown Dragway in R.I. a number of guys drove that car as it was being tested including Gordon Carlson who was a buyer of Tasca  cars. The 63 Fairlane was a joint project between DST, Ford, and Tasca  not a k code hp although the first 11, 64 t-bolts were k codes, the engines pulled by DST and shipped to Shelby. That 63 was driven by Ford employee Bill Humphries at the 63 Nationals and now carried a new name Zimmy-1 in honor of Frank Zimmerman of Ford's Special Vehicles Dept. That name would be on all of Tasca's race cars from then on,also the number 777 representing the Dealership address . The 64 t-bolt still lives it is the real one restored by Randy Delisio it is owned by Steve Ames of Pontiac fame, in post 1210 it's Indy. I hope this wasn't boring sorry if it was to long. J Viera

Not at all John; nice to hear the backstory on a local legend. Perhaps you might want to explain the "Mystery #" cars to those who may not be familiar with them.

I like the "Suivre Moi" on the rear. Translates to "follow me". Someone on the team spoke French.

The Mystery name came from when the cars were being built at Holman Moody one of the workers said," if these cars go straight it will be a mystery to me" the number is the seconds the car was running as changes were made. Suivez  Moi was first on the back of Zimmy II Mr. Tasca said " we finish second to no one".
