    # 494 Look where the guy is stooping down in front of the 49 - 50 Ford on the ramps.   He wouldn't have much of a chance to get out of the way if that car came loose. It makes me wonder about some of the things that I have done without thinking.

Lou

My 1960 T-bird was standard w/OD. I bought the car from the original owner (My neighbors brother) in 1972 and had the car until i sold it in 2005. In 1990 I looked at another 60 standard shift t-bird in Bridgeport, CT but couldn't make a deal on it. In 1964 I worked part time for my best friend's father's gas station and one of the customers drove a standard shift 1961 t-bird.

In the late 60's, I also had a 60 bird with Stick/OD, FE block.  I knew of a little newer Bird that had a 4 speed.  I don't know if it was factory or not but it appeared stock to me.  It was amazing as our town only had 800 residents.

Somebody say T-Bird?

When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

Yes Joe   Someone said Tbird
Lou and Terry.  I had no idea that they made so many factory standard shift later Tbirds.   In those years I only saw one of them.

Lou

Ecode, I've heard, but never seen any proof of the original 1962 T-bird roadster being offered with a 4 speed.

Gene Winfield built Jade Idol 56 Merc. which actually never belonged to him. built in several steps for a customer who delivered the brandnew car to 'do something with it'... :003:

Email was sent to me with the subject being 'Nesting Falcon'.
Text of email:
"I've seen many remarkable nature photographs over the years but this photo of a nesting Falcon in an old tree is perhaps the most remarkable nature shot that I've ever seen.  Send this to your older friends, since the younger ones probably have never seen a falcon, and wouldn't recognize it."
Emm, OK.

The Falcon is an Australian one that ended up there in a flood.
