On the tires, yes Ford tires:

When I was fourteen years old, I was amazed at how unintelligent my father was. By the time I turned twenty-one, I was astounded at how much he had learned in the last seven years!

Fordson was a brand name of tractors and trucks. It was used on a range of mass-produced general-purpose tractors manufactured by Henry Ford & Son Inc from 1917 to 1920, by Ford Motor Company

That picture looks to be from Mapleridge, a small town (back then) half hour east from Vancouver. Is that a 49 or 50 Meteor on the hook?

I love automotive art..... and especially Art from the big 3 during the golden years.I was very lucky to have worked along some of these fine gentlemen in the 90's.
2 have passed and one is now in a nursing home.Kinda sad, because the skill and talent these folks had is now a lost art.
Usually these illustrators would be contracted to one of the big three and work on new assignments. One would do the cars, while the other would add the human elements.
some would just do interiors, some would just do the technical elements....(drivetrains,and such)As many as 5-10 artists would have a hand in these pieces.
Layout artists, comp artists, production artists, graphic designers and illustrators all worked on each piece.
Today... it's a sad state..whereas old Car advertising had a magic,... a fantasy element .... Now.... it's just a highly photoshopped mess... with no room for imagination.
