No close-up pictures.  If you look really close, there are no drip rails.

PIC -- door opening.  Really hard to get good detail on a black car.

I just wanted to say Thank You to Rich for all of this important information.  I appreciate you freely sharing both your success and failures with us, so we can avoid the frustration.

Sealing the panels in the rain rails is such an important step in the refinish process, and any issues that arise after paint cause a huge amount of expense and time to reverse.

I'm currently refinishing a replacement roof for my wife's "rolled over" 93,000 original mile 1970 Bronco.

Does this mean that you finally have your car out of Body Shop Jail?

      Sorry to interrupt your thread.

Nope.  Turned it over to lawyer a couple of weeks ago.  Waiting on court order.

That's a first class bummer. I really hate to think about how this kind of a mess actually happens and now you have to pay for a lawyer.

See if you can go after them for attorney fees as well. A good attorney should be able to get you more than what is owed. example...I had a couple who owed me $3200 in back rent. The attorney when he was done with them had them bent over a chair for almost $10k!
